For more than nine decades, the history of Maurer-Atmos has been closely associated with pioneering spirit, courage and visionary attitude. Between then and today there have been many patents and countless events, but the competence and commitment to continually improve the thermal processing of food has not diminished.
The headquarters are still in Reichenau, where the company was founded at the beginning of the 20th century, while requirements have changed rapidly, especially in recent years.

IB Food-Machines is based in Urk, and for good reason. This is where our founder Ingmar Baars has seen firsthand how the local fish industry works. When he got the opportunity to become a supplier of processing machines for this industry, he grabbed it with both hands. Knowing well what entrepreneurs needed, IB Food-Machines made a strong start.
We now also work for meat and poultry producers and supply over fifteen renowned brands. Since 2024, we have also been the proud owner of portioning specialist Borncut. This demonstrates not only our nose for quality, but also our ambition for growth. At the same time we are always close, accessible and personal. So that you have a reliable partner at your side.
